To confirm a Cash on Delivery order, a partial advance payment is mandatory. This policy is in place to cover the logistics and handling costs associated with shipping your product.
Advance Amount Calculation: You must pay an advance amount online to confirm your order.
The standard advance is 10% of the Order Value or ₹200 (whichever is higher).
Note: For large or bulky items, this amount may be adjusted based on the volumetric weight and actual courier charges applicable to your location.
Secure Payment Method: The advance payment must be made via a secure RAZORPAY payment link. This link will be provided at the time of booking or sent to you by our team.
Balance Payment: The remaining balance (Total Order Value minus Advance Paid) is to be paid in Cash to the delivery agent upon arrival.
We have introduced this measure to filter out "test orders," "time-pass" orders, or fake entries.
Serious Buyers: Cash on Delivery is available only for intentional buyers.
Verification: All COD orders are subject to verification. If the advance payment is not received via our Razorpay secure gateway, the order will be automatically cancelled.
Delivery Attempts: Our courier partner will make up to 3 attempts to deliver your package. Please ensure you are available to receive the shipment.
No Open Delivery: You cannot open or inspect the package before making the full cash payment to the delivery agent.
If a COD order is shipped and subsequently rejected or refused by the customer at the doorstep without a valid reason (e.g., damage), the advance payment is strictly non-refundable.
This amount is retained to cover the two-way shipping (forward and return) and packing charges incurred by TRENDBUY.
